Graveside service for Tera Mays Blagg, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the Buel Cemetery in Keene. Chaplain Nancy Schneider will officiate. No set visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Blagg passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born March 3, 1923 in Saltillo to James and Mayflower Canady Mays.
Mrs. Blagg was a retired restaurant owner and operator. She operated the Chuckwagon Cafe in Cleburne for 10 years and the Cedar Hill Restaurant in Cedar Hill for more than 6 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Glaves and Debbie Fraser and her husband Rob, all of Cleburne; three sisters, Christine Kerr of Dallas, Modine Stretcher of Mt. Vernon and Jimmye Garner and husband J.B. of Saltillo; three brothers, James Mays of Mt. Vernon, John Mays of Saltillo and Gerald Mays and wife Ann of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Jamie and husband John David, Kevin and wife Merie, Corey and Courtney; one great-grandson, Jack; several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands,William O. Martin and Woodrow M. Blagg; three sisters; one brother and one great grandchild.
