Memorial service for Terry Ray Massey, 71, of Joshua will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Terry passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 in Joshua. He was born December 4, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to Clymoth and Ruth (Collins) Massey. Terry married Belinda Kay Sanderson on December 4, 1977 in Burleson. He worked for Snapper with over 10 years of dedicated service. Terry also ran his own Bar-B-Q business in Joshua. From cooking chili for the Joshua Deer processing, serving out of the Union Hill store and at the Chevron deli station. Terry was a Bar B Que Pitmaster and participated in chili cookoffs all over Texas. His favorite by far were in Terlingua, Meridian and Traders Village cook-offs. He played on a Snapper soft ball team and also was in a bowling league with friends. Terry loved TCU anything and had a love-hate relationship with the Dallas Cowboys.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife, Belinda Massey; daughter, Kim Herron and husband Steven; father, Clymoth Massey and wife; nephew, Garrick Hughes and wife, Crystal; grandchildren, Tyler Sayen and wife, Ali, Allison Sayen and Nevah Herron; great-grandchild, Ryan Sayen; bonus grandchildren, Sean Garza and family, Michael Garza, Kirstie Herron, Aiden Herron; numerous Favorite nieces, nephews, sisters and brother-in-laws, and a lots of cousins.
Terry is preceded in death by his mother and sister.
