Thelma Tomlinson

Graveside service for Thelma June Harwell Tomlinson, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Mr. J.D. Wright will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tomlinson passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 in Stephenville. She was born October 20, 1925 in Cleburne to Forrest and Callie Baxter Harwell. She married Gerald Dale Tomlinson on May 24, 1940 in Glen Rose.

Mrs. Tomlinson was a homemaker and a member of the North Cleburne Church of Christ.

Thelma June Tomlinson is survived by her sons, Sandy Dale Tomlinson and wife Wanda of Tomball; Ronny Jay Tomlinson and wife Sharon of Bluff Dale, Ricky Bob Tomlinson, Marshall K. Tomlinson and wife Debra of Cleburne; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; brother, Bill Harwell of Grandview; sisters, Betty Shelton of Mansfield and Julia Moxon of Cleburne; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald in 1982; daughter, Gloria Bird; sister, Lola Looper; brother, Forrest, Jr.; two granddaughters, Cindy and Christy.
