Thelmarene Shelton

Service for Thelmarene Shelton, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Brooks Monk. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon -2:00 P.M., prior to the service.

Thelmarene Shelton passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born June 15, 1928 in Cleburne to Thelma DeWitt and Irene McCullers Nutt. She married Lenox Edward Shelton on May 27, 1948 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2006.

Mrs. Shelton was a cosmetologist and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sons, Lyndon Keith Shelton and Lenox Kent Shelton; daughters, Renee Shelton Spahr and Kathryn Shelton Suits; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ramona Reynolds, Faye Dell Bicknell, Sonya Finstead, Shirley Loudamy, and Charlene Howell; brother, Charles Nutt; several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
