Theresa Kiesl Webb, 73, stepped into eternity on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from her home in Cleburne, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 23 at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Committal Service will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne at 11:30 A.M. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 22 at the funeral home.
Theresa was born December 30, 1937, in Eichtling, Bavaria, Germany. After high school, she attended Hotel Management School and met the love of her life, John Calvin Webb, a U.S. Army Serviceman, in Munich, Germany. They married on November 28, 1959. They spent the next 20 years moving to John's various stations of duty: living in Germany, Texas, Alaska, Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama, Colorado and North Carolina. They retired to John's hometown of Cleburne in January 1978.
Theresa was a retired machinist who worked for Halliburton for 20 years. For the past 6 years, she has spent much of her time volunteering as a "Pink Lady" at Texas Health Hospital in Cleburne. She loved fishing, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Theresa is preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Webb, her parents, Emil and Krezentcia Kiesl: brothers, Hermann, Fritz, Emil and Sepp Kiesl and sister, Hannelore Kiesl.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Webb, daughters, Carmen Mowrer and husband, Don, and Ariane Sutton and husband, Carl, granddaughter, Lindsay Webb, sisters, Josefa Meier, Zenta Wimmer, Emma Way, Hermine Pradl, Maria Reisch, Martha Grundl, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Manucher Nazarian who has cared for Theresa the past 3 months, the ICU nurses of Harris Methodist Heart Center in Ft. Worth and the staff of American Hospice.
