Thomas Boruff
Thomas H. "Jack" Boruff, Jr., 89, of Evant, Tx, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 in Hamilton, Texas. He was born April 22, 1918 in Fort Worth, TX. He married Katherine Naomi Calvert in Cailifornia.
Mr. Boruff served in WWII as a Captain in the US Air Force. He was a geologist and worked for the Texas Railroad Commission as District Director for 10 years. He taught Earth Science at San Jacinto Jr. High School in Midland TX for 19 years.
Thomas Harlin Boruff, Jr. is survived by his sons, Paul and wife Stephanie of Cleburne and Scott and wife D.D. of San Marcos, TX; daughter, Pat of Floresville, TX and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherineon February 7, 2007.
