Service for Thomas Floyd Langford Jr., 95, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 18, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Jim Langford will officiate. Burial will follow in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, December 17, 2021 at the funeral home.
Floyd passed away December 15, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born October 18, 1926 in Priddy, Texas to Thomas Floyd Sr. and Ruth Faver Langford. Thomas married Frances Seena Adams on September 5, 1944 in Hamilton, Texas. He was the owner and operator of Modern Monument Works for over 15 years. Thomas was a member of Field Street Baptist Church. He was a founding member of Civil Air Patrol, active in the Boy Scouts and Camp Fire and a member of the Exchange Club.
Floyd is survived by his children, Tom Langford and wife Cindy of Meridian, Jim Langford and wife DJ of Fort Worth, Don Langford and wife Julia of Joshua, Cheryl Langford Prachyl and husband Mike of Kennedale; grandchildren, Tommy, Jennifer, Don, Jr., Sheena, Scotty, Adam, Samantha, Jody, Amy, Jeff, Jason and Cindy; 22 great grandchildren; sister Lavinia Trull of Rio Vista; niece, Tamet Gould and nephew Ricky Luper.
Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Langford in 2016; granddaughter, Stephanie Ernst; great grandson, Hunter Langford and daughter-in-law, Gay Langford.
