Services for Tirso "Cisco" Barajas, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 in the First United Pentecostal Church, 1000 Woodard Ave. Rev. Dewaun Ashley will officiate. Burial will be in Greenarces Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Justin Williams, Roman Jones, Larry Rochford, Chantry Conkle, Matt Devaney and Pat Devaney.
Tirso "Cisco" Barajas passed away Monday, October 1, 2007. He was born September 24, 1922 in Talco, TX to Felipe and Cleta Lozano Barajas. He married Winnie O. Polk on January 16, 1968 in Cleburne.
Mr. Barajas worked in maintenance for Walls Industry for 48 years, served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter #1867 and was a member of First Untied Pentecostal Church.
Tirso Barajas is survived by his son, Bobby Wayne Barajas and wife Gail of Cleburne; daughter, Rosemary Carr of Daingerfield; step-daughter, Scarlot Jones of Cleburne and step-son, Gary Williams and wife Mary of Cleburne; brothers, Henry Barajas of Shreveport, LA, Willie Barajas of Cedar Hill, TX, Andres Barajas of Rankon, TX and Phillip Barajas of Irving, TX; sisters, Rita Barajas Rico of Chattanooga,TN, Carlotta Barajas of Celina, TX, Juanita Barajas and Natalie Barajas of Dallas; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Tirso Barajas, Jr. in 1948; brothers, Savio, Johnny, and Pete Barajas and sister, Mary Barajas.
