Tom Lawrence

Thomas Neal Lawrence passed away peacefully at his residence Thursday, August 21, 2008. He was born April 23, 1956 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Robert and Pat Lawrence.
Tom Lawrence attended school in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Fort Worth, Texas. He joined the Fort Worth Fire Department, in 1977, and retired in 2006 after twenty-nine years of service as an Engineer. During that time he played a large role in Fire Safety education in the Fort Worth area School District as"Pike Pole" the clown. He also served in the underwater search and recovery team.
The fire department played a big role in his life. He was a fire fighter through and through. Tom Lawrence was a great steadfast man who was very passionate in anything he did. He will be truly missed by the many lives he touched.
Tom Lawrence is survived by his wife of twenty-five years Robin Lawrence, of Cleburne; son, Chris of Corpus Christi; daughter, Amy, of Nacogdoches; parents, Robert and Pat, of Benbrook; brother, Robert and sister, Terri, also of Benbrook. He was preceded in death by one brother, Steve, of Buffalo, Wyoming.
