A memorial service for Tommy Douglas “Doug” Cannon, 65, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at College Heights Baptist Church in Cleburne. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate.
Tommy Douglas “Doug” Cannon passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born May 7, 1950 in Cleburne to T.S. and Vivian Beth Smith Cannon. He married Shelley Lee Ellis on Dec. 30, 2003 in Cleburne.
Mr. Cannon worked as an air conditioner contractor for Cleburne Electric Company. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shelley Cannon of Cleburne; father, Tom Cannon of Cleburne; son, Corey Cannon of Arlington; stepson, Farley Flowers and wife Tiana of Godley; granddaughter, Ava Claire Flowers of Godley; sister, Kim Pointer and husband Terry of Hewitt; two nephews, Joshua Pointer and wife Snow and Kyle Pointer and wife Janis, all of Austin; mother-in-law, Virginia Ellis of Granbury; and numerous other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beth Cannon in 2012; son, Cullen Cannon in 1998; and stepson, Jason Flowers in 2003.
