Service for Tommy Joe Fuller, 77, of Covington, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 5, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Reverend Roy Gee officiating. Interment will follow in Covington Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
Tommy passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023, in Covington. He was born March 19, 1946 in Cleburne to Wallace Herbert and Ruby Novella (Lambert) Fuller. Tommy was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Covington. He married Margie Ann Moore on January 6, 1973 in Covington. Tommy worked for Santa Fe and Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1996. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. Tommy liked guns and fast cars, especially antique cars. He was family oriented and let you know how blessed he felt to have his parents, wife, grandchildren and family. Tommy was an animal lover, especially his dogs and cats. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margie Ann Fuller; daughter, Toni Fuller White and husband, Robby; grandchildren, Taytem Peterson and her husband, Sterlin, Tanner Spurlock and his wife, Bailey, Brazos Fuller and his wife, Kelsey, Braxton Fuller and his wife, Amy, Brayson Fuller, and Gracie Fuller; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mikel Joe Fuller; and brother, Don Roy Fuller.
