Mr. Van Zandt passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014. He was born Feb. 10, 1933, in Granbury to Tommy Bryson and Delia Carroll Van Zandt. Tommy graduated in the Class of 1951 from Cleburne High School and then went on to join the United States Army. He served during the Korean Conflict and was stationed in San Francisco, serving as a part of the Radar Coastline Defense Unit as a Corporal. He retired in 1989 and settled back in Granbury, where he remained until his death. His strong sense of character and integrity will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
