Travis Parsons

Services for Travis “Gene” Parsons, 52, of Granbury, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Paul Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Travis “Gene” Parsons passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Granbury. He was born on July 26, 1966 in Fort Worth to Travis Hal and Edith Louise (Costa) Parsons. He married Shelly Lathers on September 16, 2005 in Granbury.

Gene was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful and hardworking man. He worked at Brazos Metal for Tony Smith for 20 years. He truly loved his family and would help anyone and never had a negative word to say about anything. Gene loved his StevieRay.

Gene is survived by his wife Shelly Lathers Parsons; daughters Felicia Nettles and husband Walter and Grace Felan and husband Fred Melendez; son Bull Felan and wife Brittany Kent; grandchildren StevieRay Liebo, Sybil Nettles and Luke Felan; mother-in-law Geraldine Lathers; brother Scott Parsons and sister Nedra Spencer; sisters-in-law Pam Webster and husband Fred Mills and Janey Harris and husband Chris. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law Donald Lathers, Sr. and brother-in-law Donald Lathers, Jr.
