Troy Stiles

Memorial service for Troy D. Stiles, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Russell Elleven will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday, August 5, 2011

Mr. Stiles passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born October 2, 1926 in Pilot Point to Edwin Sr. and Hazel Stiles. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Tannehill on June 3, 1956.

Mr. Stiles served his country proudly in the US Army. He was the owner of TS Environmental and a member of Westside Unitarian Universalist Church in Ft. Worth.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Stiles of Cleburne; sons Bill Barnhill and wife Sharon of Denton and Joel Barnhill of Houston; daughters Deana Lopez of Weatherford and Mary Anderson and husband Randy of Weatherford; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister Joyce Snider and husband Bennie of Denton; sister-in-law Ava Stiles of Whitesboro and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edwin "Jr." Stiles.
