Cleburne—Memorial services for Vandy Lynn Garrett, 42, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Eastern Heights Church, 1315 Grandview Hwy., Cleburne.
Our beloved Vandy Lynn Garrett passed away on Monday, August 29, 2005. She was born on June 26, 1963 in Cleburne, Texas. She went to Heaven after a very hard year of battling cancer. She is survived by her children Daniel Gober and Karrissa Roberts and the love of her life Randy Roberts; grandchildren, Aryana and Caden Gober; sister, Vicki Cross; nieces, Amanda Walker and Keesha Cross; nephew, Marcus Cross; great-nephew, Slayde and Gavin; great nieces, Lidya and Cloe and father, Bill Melton. The family would also like to thank her mother-in-law, Diantha Roberts for being there and helping her like a mother and also a special thanks to Billy Roberts, Tammy Smith, Lita Camp, Jeff Cross and Uncle Johnny.
Vandy was one of the strongest and bravest women we knew, fighting every day to beat this horrible disease. Vandy you have touched many lives and hearts along your path. You will always be a part of our lives and hearts. Now you can have peace and be with Chandra, Meemaw and Nanny in Heaven.
