Vanitia Shelton

Jean Shelton passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born September 27, 1954 in Odessa. Jean was of the Baptist faith. She was known as a sweet lady, always willing to help others in any way she could. Her grandchildren were everything to her. Nana, as her grandchildren called her was preceded in death by her parents, Albert P. Mitchell and Lutishia Mitchell Snyder; and brother, Andy Mitchell.

Survivors include her daughters, Vanessa Duncan and her husband, Scott of Cleburne and Spring Duncan of Joshua; grandchildren, Jody, Brenna, Kaitlyn, Mikey, Starla, Noah, and two more on the way; siblings, Patricia Broyles and David Mitchell; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
