Vaughn Renfro

Services for Vaughn Edwin Renfro, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Robert Graham and the Rev. John Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m.

Vaughn E. Renfro passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born June 15, 1924 in Lillian, TX to Luther and Omega Renfro. He married Grace N. Moeller on December 24, 1950 in Cleburne.

Mr. Renfro worked as an assistant manager for 42 years for JC Penney. He was an active member for almost 70 years at Field St. Baptist Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir, performing solos and served as a deacon.

Vaughn Renfro is survived by his wife, Grace of Cleburne; daughter, Grace Marie Wright of Ft. Worth; sister, Janis Gray of Cleburne; nephew, David Miller and niece, Angela Childs both of North Richland.
