Velma Blackstone Milton

Memorial service for Velma Blackstone Milton, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.

Velma passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born March 23, 1934 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Silas Lloyd and Sylvia Lee (Garland) Payne. She was a very crafty person. She enjoyed painting, sewing and ceramics. Velma loved her little dog Cookie.

Velma is survived by son, Darren Barber and wife, Rhonda; daughter, Susan Thompson and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Billy Thompson and family, Casey Barber and family, Bodie Mears and family, Bubba Mears and family; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Dean Smith and niece Denise Stull.

Velma is preceded in death by son, Kenneth Barber; husbands, Richard Blackstone and Arthur Milton
