Velma Wise

Graveside service for Velma Wise, 103, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 4, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery.

Velma Wise passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born March 4, 1917 in Johnson County, Texas to Harvey and Molly (Hardin) Blankenship. She married Robert Vernon Wise in 1934 in Cleburne. Velma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Velma was a great mother and faithful wife. She raised a large family and set a powerful example for others to follow. Velma was generous to a faith and will be dearly missed.

Velma is survived by her son, Richard Wise and wife Juanita Sue; daughters, Marie Wright, LaVerne Milan and husband Eddy; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and other extended family and loving friends.
