Vera Knight

Mrs. Vera Alice Knight passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born March 27, 1912 in Coahoma, Texas to Tolbert and Della Wheeler Hale. She married Albert A. Knight, December 12, 1946, in Fort Worth. Mrs. Knight was a retired seamstress for Walls Mfg. Co., a member of Ruth Chapter Order of Eastern Star, a member of Ready Class at East Henderson Baptist Church and past president of the Glory Choir. She is survived by son, Mitchell Spears(Willie), of Cleburne; step-son, Albert Knight, Jr. (Brenda), Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Yvonne Hobson, of Rio Vista and Glenna West, of Cleburne; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Knight, March 28, 1991, two sons-in-law, Jack Hobson and Richard West; one brother and three sisters.
