Vera Musick

Graveside services for Vera Musick, 95, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 1, 2010 in the Lane Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Musick passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Weatherford. She was born to Edward and Myrtle Hawkins Manuel on January 24, 1915 in Honey Grove, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of Terrace Acres Baptist Church in White Settlement. "Grandma" as she was known to many, was a gentle lady that was family oriented. Her home was always open to those she loved. It has been said that not only was she a hard worker, but one that never stopped. Her loving spirit and protective nature will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved her. Vera was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Horace G. Musick; children, Jim and Norman Musick and Linda Prescott.

Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Eddie and Carolyn Musick and Bruce and Susan Musick; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
