Vernon Pollard

Graveside services for Vernon Pollard, 72, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in the Greenlawn Cemetery. Pastor Louis Jones will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 5-8 p.m.

Vernon Pollard passed away Monday, January 13, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born February 10, 1936 in Rio Vista to Robert and Loucinda Alexander Pollard.

Mr. Pollard was a laborer in the construction industry.

Vernon Pollard is survived by his daughters, Mavis Bryan and son-in-law, Calvert; granddaughters, Tessa Bryan and Raisa Bryan all of Cleburne; Velma Haynes and son-in-law, Terrance; grandsons, Jeremy, David, Jason and Trayln and three great-grandchildren all of Itasca; brothers, Booker T. Pollard and Willie B. Pollard of Cleburne; sisters, Pearline Francis of Grandview, Lora F. Lowe of Cleburne and Stella Pollard of Arlington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
