Mrs. Hopper passed away in Fort Worth on Friday, August 27, 2021. She was born to Earl and Betty Inez Burnett Allen on June 2, 1959 in Cleburne. Vicki married Bob Hopper on July 1, 1986 in Cleburne. She was a member of Southwest Christian Fellowship in Burleson. Vicki worked 35 years, retiring as a legal secretary for Ben Hill Turner Law Office in Cleburne in 2017. “NanNa” as her grandchildren lovingly call her, has been described as powerful, a lightning rod and fiery, but also with an amazing heart. She was known as everyone’s safe place, where you found solitude. She was everyone’s favorite person and you could not help but love her if you were blessed to know her. NanNa’s life soon revolved around grandchildren and their activities. Her love of family and friends was one of inspiration and admiration, knowing no boundaries or exceptions. She truly loved beyond social status and circumstance. Vicki’s love of life and laughter and her enduring yet willful spirit will be missed greatly, but honored as her family continues to hold close to one another in the days ahead.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Hopper; son and daughter-in-law, Danny Ray and Kimberly McCall; grandchildren, Nolan, Brooklyn and Ty; great grandchildren, Myla and Beau; siblings, Wanda Hollingsworth, Becky Davis and husband, Bobby, Ramona Allen and Rick Allen; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
