Vickie Tapley

Service for Vickie Lynn Tapley, 52, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.

Vickie Lynn Tapley passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Mansfield. She was born May 16, 1961 in Grand Prairie. Vickie worked as a packer for Southern Champion Tray for two years.

Vickie lived a hard life, having recovered from a stroke 25 years ago. Even through that she always had a good attitude. She enjoyed traveling all over with Jimmy. Vickie was an animal lover, especially of dogs and her cat, Pretty Girl. Her independent spirit and loving nature will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her longtime friend and companion, Jimmy Hallum; aunt and uncle, Mary and Kenny Bush; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
