Victor Livingston
Service for Victor Laygh Livingston, 68, lifelong resident of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, April 14, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Cleburne. The Reverend Kyle Livingston, the Reverend Brian McClure, and the Reverend David Nolen will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Cox, Bobby Daggs, Monroe Flippin, Neal Flippin, Chris Goodwin, David Hamm, Aric Head, Chadric Head, Charles Head, Joe Lilly, Sam Mann, Darrell Martin, Dr. Stan McVey, Grady Meek, Larry Melson, Sgt. Danny Rogers, Sam Thornton and Rodney Wortham. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Livingston passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born April 13, 1942 in Cleburne to Chester Laygh and LueRene Tucker Livingston. He married Linda Garlene Kyle on November 20, 1965 in Cleburne.
Mr. Livingston was employed for 35 years with Lonestar Farm and Ranch, formerly Mann Farm and Ranch, as an agriculture consultant in sales. He was a member of the Cleburne Masonic Lodge, the Johnson County Junior Livestock Association and Friendship Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and adult Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Linda Livingston of Cleburne; son, Kyle Livingston and wife Tricia of Corpus Christi; daughter, Rebecca Brown and husband Tim of Houston; mother, LueRene Livingston and sister, Donna Lilly and her husband Joe, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Madison, Micah and Matthew Livingston and Samuel and Ellen Klare Brown; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Livingston and one grandson, Benjamin Kyle Brown.
