Mrs. Erwin was a retired truck driver for Borden Dairies and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Viola Erwin is survived by her parents, Ernie and Ruby Herrick of Emporia, Kansas; son, Jason Brockington of New York; two sisters, Kathy Fultz of Denton and Dorothy De LaCruz of Seagoville; brother, Herman Wayne Hardung of Ohio; grandson, Calub Brockington; nieces, Renee Gurley; nephew, Christopher Cammerucci; great nieces, Amber and Ashley Landers; and great nephew, Jimmy Lee Gurley, Jr.
