Graveside service for Virgie Mae Burnett, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the Brazos Point Cemetery, Bosque County, Texas. Reverend Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Visitation will be Friday night, November 29, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Burnett passed away November 26, 2019. She was born August 17, 1944 in Cleburne, Texas to Thomas Calvin and Verlie Anner (Williams) Webb. She married Wardie Burnett, who she met at work at Rangaire where she was a Receiving Clerk, in 1980 in Cleburne.
Virgie Mae loved wood crafts and pie making. She enjoyed making quilting with her mother. She especially loved to go fishing. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include her husband, Wardie Burnett; children, Milton McComas, Lisa Aven and husband John, Stephanie Berney and husband Tom, John Burnett and wife Cynthia, and Robert Burnett; grandchildren, Johnathan Burnett, Hayden Burnett, Mason McComas, Wendy Rubio, John McComas, Dustin Rubio and wife Kayla, and Joshua McComas; great-grandchildren, Simon Jenkins, Izaha Pollard, Kaitlin Ortis, Madeline Rubio, Aron McComas, Micah McComas, Bently McComas, Shelby Burnett, Ayden Germain, and Trinitie Burnett; siblings Gueild Johnson, Nona Polson, Sharlene Crisp, Robert Webb and Raymond Webb; many nieces and nephews.
