Virginia Sue Ammerman

A memorial service for Virginia Sue Ammerman, 90, of Alvarado will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Reverend Ken Coleman officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the funeral home.

Virginia passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, in Alvarado. She was born April 5, 1933, in Alvarado to Sam Houston and Zola Sue (Reynolds) Davis. Virginia was a member of Living Proof Baptist Church. She worked with the kitchen staff in Nursing Homes with 27 years of service. Virginia will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her children, Renea Coleman of Arlington, Susan Barnes of Cleburne; Terry Sam Coleman and wife Helen of Cleburne, and Rollin Russell Ammerman and wife Kennette of Hurst; grandchildren, Misty Dawn Vielmann, Sharon Rochelle Robinett and husband Chris, Jimmy Wayne Davis and wife Misty, Christopher Davis and wife Amberly, Russell Davis, David Chad Davis and wife Talisha, and Melissa Loree Jimenez and husband Felix; brother, Charles Samuel Davis and wife Arlene, of Keene; sisters, Minnie Ruth Eoff and husband Ray of Cleburne, and Sandra Feline Brewer of Cleburne; along with numerous nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Houston Davis and Zola Sue Davis; sister, Lillian Davis; and grandson, Terry Sam Coleman, Jr.
