Services for Virginia E. Hill, 81, of Fort Worth, Texas, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Edge Park Methodist Church in Fort Worth. Rev. Tom Connolly will officiate. Committal Service will be at 2 p.m. in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 in DeKalb, Texas. She was born December 4, 1923 in Blum, Texas, to David Russell and Orian Clyde Stratton Hoshour. She married Curtis E. Hill on May 16, 1942 in Blum, Texas.
Mrs. Hill was a retired library clerk. She grew up in Blum and graduated from Blum high school. She lived in Cleburne for a number of years and lived in Ft. Worth for 40 years before relocating to DeKalb weeks prior to her death. She was a member of Blum Chapter 931 of the Eastern Star and Texas Retired Teachers Association.
Virginia E. Hill is survived by her two daughters, Mary Maiorka of Fort Worth and Martha Hoefner and husband Tony of DeKalb; four grandchildren, Russell Artmier of Houston, Courtney Ann Douglas and husband Will of Denton, Corynne Hoefner and Amber Hoefner of DeKalb; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
