Virginia Matthews

Services for Virginia McBride Matthews, 63, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 27, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steve Sager, Les Sager, Jud Fenn, Chris Fenn, Ronnie Baker, Jr., Wade Williams, Rodney Packwood and Ron Little.

Mrs Matthews passed away Monday, September 24, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born September 11, 1944 in Cleburne, Texas.

Mrs Matthews was a clerk for Cleburne Ford and Liberty Ford for twenty-five years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Virginia McBride Matthews is survived by sons, Robert Matthews and wife, Rachel, of Blum and Rodney Matthews of Cleburne; daughter, Melinda Matthews, of Joshua; sisters, Barbara Baker Sager, of Fort Worth, Kay Fenn, of Cleburne, Judy Williams, of Garland, Sharon Hutson, of Alvarado and Eleesa Vassar, of Covington; brother, Ronnie Baker, of Cleburne;eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Frankie and Burl Baker.
