Vivian Delozier

Memorial services for Vivian I. Delozier, 62, homemaker of Alvarado, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 12, 2010 in the New Heart Ministries Church, Cleburne. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Mrs. Delozier passed away in Fort Worth on Thursday, July 8, 2010. She was born to Richard and Frances Coleman on January 8, 1948 in Dallas. She married Gerald G.W. Delozier on March 18, 1991 in Duncanville. She was a member of New Heart Ministries. Vivian was an avid gardener, one that master gardeners sought out for information and advice from even. She has been described as having a fantastic personality, strong beliefs and playful energy. Vivian loved the outdoors, often gaining peace when tending to her flowers, collecting rocks and hunting. Her outgoing nature and loving spirit will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Richard Coleman and John Henry Neuner.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Delozier; mother, Frances Neuner; step mother, Thelma Coleman; children, Stephen Blackwood, Scott Blackwood and wife, Nicole, Dewayne Delozier and wife, Kelly, Rene Delozier-McDonell and husband, Terry, Lance Delozier and wife, Veronica; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings, Benjamin Neuner, Lynnette Briggs, and Jeanine Coleman; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
