Services for Vivian Lee (Harrison) Morris, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 303 S. Nolan River Rd., Cleburne, TX. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
Vivian Lee Morris was born October 19, 1942 in Wareham, Massachusetts, where her father was stationed during World War II. Her parents were Grady Alison and Letha Vivian (Yarbrough) Harrison of Burkburnett, Texas.
Vivian graduated from Northwestern University with a Business Administration degree and worked for the Bob Wilson law firm in Wichita Falls, where she was Legal Secretary of the Year in 1971.
Vivian married Travis Morris in 1972 and deemed to be a wife and mother when they moved to Cleburne, Texas in 1974. Travis and Vivian raised five children.
Vivian was active in church and community. She was president of the Church's Women's Relief Society three times and president of the Johnson County Genealogical Society twice. She served thirteen years as the director of the LDS Family History Center in Cleburne.
Vivian is survived by her husband, Travis Morris, uncle and aunt Dale and Kathleen (Morris) Yarbrough of Burkburnett, sister Joyce Ann Savelyev of Arizona; four daughters, Sonja Morris of Cleburne, Beth Morris, Rebekah Easterly of Joshua and Laura Stephens of Glen Rose; son, Jared Morris of Cleburne; two nieces and seven grandchildren.
