Vivian Owens

Graveside service for Vivian Becker Owens, 82, longtime resident of Keene will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Keene Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Cutter Bryan, Cullen Bryan, Doyle Carver, Pete Kappas, Dennis Carver, Danny Carver, and Scott Davis.
Vivian Becker Owens passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born July 8, 1932 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Ferdinand and Rachel Kraft Becker. She married Ellis Levi Owens on June 11, 1954 in Woodward, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1996.
Mrs. Owens was a homemaker and enjoyed singing solos, in trio groups and in local choirs. She also enjoyed doting over, caring for and loving her grandchildren. She was a member of Single Sisters in Service Organization and the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Elisa Carver and husband Doyle of Cleburne and Cyndi Kappas and husband Pete of Paducah, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Angela Carver, Jeracho Bryan, Cutter Bryan, and Cullen Bryan. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Vernon, Benny and Harold Becker.
