Services for Vivian Earline Whiteside, 82, of Ft. Worth, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Charles E. Payne, Rev. Calvin Turnage and Rev. Cabel Roberts will officiate. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Ft. Worth.

Vivian Earline Whiteside passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Ft. Worth. She was born October 17, 1924 in Arab, Alabama to James and Rosie Mae Lynch. She married Oliver Franklin Whiteside on January 27, 1940 in Ft. Worth.

Mrs. Whiteside was a member of Friendly Lane Baptist Church in Haltom City where she was a nursery attendant for 28 years. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and a fantastic cook. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as she made her mark among us.

She is survived and greatly loved by her, three daughters, Judith Gail Payne and husband Rev. Charles E. of Cleburne; Elizabeth Ann Wilkerson and husband Ronald of Ft. Worth and Vivian Yvonne Prouty and husband Calvin of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Oleane Johnson and husband Warren of Arlington and Alice Morrison of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother, James W. Lynch and wife Cherry of Garland; grandchildren, Mary Turnage and husband Calvin, Tony Wilkerson and wife Tina, Kim MacKay and husband Danny, Tressa Joslin, Charla Ledbetter and husband Todd, Amber Martinez, Ashley Moore and husband Donnie, Jonathan Prouty and wife Jennifer, Oliver Shawn Prouty and Caleb Prouty; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Whiteside and brothers, Bill, Leo and Van Lynch.
