Wade Williams

Service for Wade Williams, 39, of Mansfield will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 30, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Bob Miller and the Reverend Jim Maxwell will officiate. Burial will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday.

Wade passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 in Mansfield. He was born August 17, 1971 in Cleburne to George Edward and Ruth Ann Millikan Williams.

Wade was a 1992 graduate of Cleburne High School and was an assembler at CLC Workshop. He enjoyed working as a volunteer with the Dallas Police Training Academy. He helped train officers in dealing with people who have special needs. Wade was of the Christian faith.

Wade is survived by his parents, Ruth and Weldon Miller of Mansfield and George and Darlene Williams of Cleburne; sisters, Felicia Miller Nash and husband Todd of Austin and Darla Kester and husband Lee of Burleson; brothers, Greg Lambert of Dallas and Charlie Lambert and wife Tiffany of Conroe; grandmother, Pariozad Millikan; five nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Mamie Elizabeth Miller Maxwell and grandfather, Delbert Leon Millikan, Sr.

Pallbearers are Greg Lambert, Charlie Lambert, Lee Kester, Todd Nash, Cody Dean Edwards, Mario Gallimore, Jimmy Davis and John Akers.

Wade loved God, George Strait and hamburgers! If we measured life only by educational degrees and positions of prominence, we would indeed miss all of the amazing things about Wade. He enjoyed being around people and entertaining them with his impersonations of the Three Stooges. He loved his family and felt that spending time with them was the most important part of his social calendar. If you spent any length of time with him, he would remind you of your positive attributes every 15-20 minutes-he was not one to hold back on compliments. He never married or had children, but he provided lots of love and laughter to his nieces and nephews. In fact he gave lighthearted laughter to all those he met. Christmas was his favorite season, so perhaps it is fitting that he ended his wonderful life at this time of year. His beautiful spirit and kind heart will be missed.
