Walda Carlton

Service for Walda Rene Carlton, 79, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Joe Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday.

Mrs. Carlton passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born August 17, 1932 in Cleburne to Walter Thomas and Letha M. Glassco Doyle. She married W.E. "Jack" Carlton on July 21, 1954 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Carlton was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Jack Carlton of Cleburne; daughters, Debbie Lindsey and husband Jim of Joshua and Carla Cromeens and husband Eddie of Arlington; four grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two step grandsons; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Glasscoe Doyle and a sister, Anita Tarver.
