Walter Fowler

Graveside services for Walter M. Fowler, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home

Walter M. Fowler passed away Saturday, August 08, 2009 in Ft. Worth. He was born August 18, 1924 in Bartlesville, Ok to Walter E. and Marie Sharp Fowler. He married Jimmie Ann White in May, 1953 in Dallas.

Mr. Fowler was retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. where he worked in the aviation dept. He was a member of Saint Mark Methodist Church.

Walter Fowler is survived by three sons, Greg Fowler and wife, Jan of Bakersfield, Ca, Kurt Fowler and wife Kandy, of Ridgecrest, Ca. and Scott Fowler and wife Vicky, of Bedford; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, "Cork" Fowler and wife Willa Jo, of Enid, Ok and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Ann Fowler in 1985.
