Walter Haralson

Service for Walter Burgess Haralson, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Danny Crosby will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the IOOF Cemetery in Quinlan. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday.

Mr. Haralson passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born January 15, 1934 in Wellington, TX to Hembree Julius "H.J." and Lola Marie Bandy Haralson. He married Mary RueNell McMillon on December 19, 1953 in Greenville.

Mr. Haralson was a retired superintendent with J. Ray McDermott. He was a wonderful husband and father and an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, RueNell Haralson of Cleburne; daughter, Sheree Corrales and husband, Trinidad; son, Joe Haralson and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Michel Janes, Sierra Nicole Haralson, Sienna Elizabeth Haralson and Rory Leonard Haralson; great grandchildren, Cody Ryan Janes and Blake Tyler Janes; brothers, H.J. Haralson Jr. and Robert Haralson; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Ryan Robert Bourgeois.
