Wanda Blair Clay, 90, of Cleburne Texas Passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Wanda was born August 19, 1933 in Levelland Texas to Charlie Edward and Myrtle May Vinyard. She was the fifth of twelve children. She married Preston Gus Blair, and they were blessed with three children and Wanda was blessed with one stepdaughter, Preston Lynn Blair of Cleburne, Darrell Glenn and wife Eugenia Blair of Arlington, Debra Ann Blair of Brownwood, Gayla Joann and husband John Williams of Comanche, Oklahoma.
Wanda worked most of her life as a secretary and retired from Hedley Senior Citizens Center where she lived with her late husband Alvie Clay in Hedley Texas. Wanda loved working with her hands. She made all kinds ceramic items, plastic canvas items, and crocheted many afghans and loved giving them away to family and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, three sisters, four brothers and one daughter-in-law, Theda Blair. She is survived by her three children and one stepchild, twelve grandkids, thirty-three great-grandkids, thirty great-great-grandkids, one brother, three sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 13, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M., January 12, 2024 at the funeral home.
