Wanda Matthews

Mrs. Matthews passed away Wednesday, September 07, 2005 in Fort Worth. She was born January 5, 1934 in Gibtown, Texas, to Elmo and Ester Turnbow Woodard. She married Burley Matthews on October 26, 1957 in Cleburne. She taught 31 years in Johnson County schools.

Wanda Almeda Matthews is survived by her husband Burley Matthews of Joshua; son, Steve Matthews of Joshua; brother, Weldon Woodard and wife Linda of Bryan, Texas; and several uncles, aunts, cousins.
