Wanda Johanna Porter passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born July 31, 1928 in Hico to Elmer Littleton and Josie Hathcock Duncan. She married Clifford Earl Porter on June 1, 1946 in Dublin and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Porter moved to Cleburne in 1951, where she was a homemaker while Clifford worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. She enjoyed quilting, loved to listen to Joel Olsteen and was of the Baptist faith. Wanda was a sweet, precious woman, loved by all and will be missed by all.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Porter Rives and husband Kenneth; son, David Porter and wife Laurie, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Gina Rives Leck and husband Rickie of Cleburne, Angie Rives Turnbow and husband Cory, of Cleburne, Cliff Porter of Montana, and Blake Porter of Hurst; great grandchildren, Colt Bishop and wife Amber of Cleburne, Lacey Lampley and husband Cody of Guam, Carley Turnbow, Lindsay Leck and Kayley Leck, all of Cleburne; great-great grandchildren, Kaytelyn and Hunter Bishop, of Cleburne; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and ten siblings, Adell Spinks, I.C. Duncan, Luther Duncan, Opal Tanner, Oleta Murray, Irene Nelson, Vera Funk, James Duncan, Hope Schiller, and Marie Rose.
Family will hold private services at a later date.
