Wayne Haefs

Graveside service for Wayne Lawrence Haefs, 79, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 3, 2021, in Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Joshua Price will officiate.

Wayne passed away on April 28, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was born July 10, 1941 in Escanaba, Michigan to Edward and Marie (Burmeister) Haefs. He married Barbara (Becker) Haefs on August 1, 1987 in Cleburne. He served in the Navy and later worked in concrete manufacturing as a chemical technician. Wayne was a quiet man but had great care for others. He especially loved his family and possessed a strong work ethic. Wayne will be dearly missed.

Wayne Haefs is survived by his sons, Robert Wagner and wife Susan, Willis Wagner and wife Julie, and Joseph Wagner; daughters, Barbara Wagner, Kelly Thomas and husband Rodney; brothers, Norman Haefs and wife Helen, Allen Haefs and wife Mary; sister, Sandra Hewitt, multiple grandchildren; three great grandchildren, along with numerous other family and loving friends.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Haefs and parents, Edward and Marie Haefs.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to St. Jude Hospital on Wayne’s behalf.
