Wayne Maberry

Graveside for Wayne Maberry, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Greenacres Memorial Park. Reverend Charles Payne will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, October 8, 2021 at the funeral home.

Wayne passed away October 4, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born February 28, 1933 in Alvarado to James Frank and Willie Etta (Dunston) Maberry. He married Janis Sonya Bruce on November 26, 1956 in Marlin, Texas. Wayne was the ultimate comedian, loving to laugh and make others laugh too. It has been said he was “superman” and the “mad scientist”. He enjoyed woodworking and could make anything from furniture and houses to nick nack items alike. His talents were boundless. Wayne’s love of life and laughter as well as his giving nature will be missed greatly.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Janis Maberry; children, Tony Maberry, Robben Maberry Lee Maberry; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Sheila Maberry, Mona Maberry; grandson, Jason Sanford; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
