Wayne Sanderson

Services for Wayne Sanderson, 67, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Mr. B.B. Stevens will officiate. Graveside service will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado, Mr. Jack Wood-Master to conduct Masonic service. Pallbearers will be Don Johnston, David Houston, Wayne Bridewell, Jerry Webber, Bobby Martindale and Ed Woolley. Honorary pallbearer will be Ed Sluder.
Wayne Sanderson passed away Friday, February 8, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born June 10, 1940 in Meridian, TX to Sylvester and Carry Madeline Bewley Sanderson. He married Tommie Sue Swinney on September 23, 1961 in Cleburne, TX.
Mr. Sanderson retired after 33 years of service at General Motors as a auto body repairman. He was a member of Westhill Church of Christ, Cleburne Masonic Lodge #315, where he was the District Deputy of the Grand Lodge of Texas and past Worshipful Master of Lodge #315.
Loyd loved bowling, water skiing and tubing with his grandchildren. He loved playing his guitar with his brother-in-law and family. He also loved to outdoor cook.
Wayne Sanderson is survived by his wife, Tommie Sue Sanderson of Cleburne; son, Rusty Sanderson of Cleburne; daughter, Lori Clements and husband, Jeff of Cleburne; granddaughters, Stephanie Peters and husband, Nate of Cleburne and Stacy Waldrip of Cleburne and grandson, Billy Cole of Burleson; brothers, R.L. Sanderson and wife, Ann of Joshua, Troy Sanderson of Rio Vista, Donald Sanderson, and Steve Sanderson; sister, Martha Love and husband, Tommy of Cleburne and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
