Wayne Schisler

Service for Wayne Schisler, 104, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in the Seventh-day Adventist Youth Chapel in Keene. Pastor Phil Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in the Keene Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Schisler passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born Nov. 23, 1906 in Burlington, Indian Territory, Okla. to Henry Elmer and Viola Gassure Schisler. He married Edna Richter on Feb. 14, 1960 in Keene. He was a self employed artist and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mr. Schisler is survived by his wife of 51 years, Edna Schisler of Cleburne; two sons, Billy Wayne Schisler of Marana, Arizona and Larry Keith Schisler and wife Becky of Cleburne; two daughters, Janet McConathy and Jerrie Seiler both of Keene; 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mable; son, Jimmy, two grandchildren and two sisters.
