Service for W.B. “Toolie” Massey II, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 30, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Donna Ware will officiate. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.

W.B. “Toolie” Massey II passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born February 16, 1926 in Acton to William Bryan Sr. and Beatrice Bell Massey. He married Doris Speegle on August 5, 1967 in Abilene.

Mr. Massey served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a welder for Santa Fe Railroad, retiring with more than 40 years of service. Toolie was a quiet man and a true country gentleman with strong character and ethics. He loved working puzzles and growing peanuts. He was a member of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his son, William B. Massey III; grandsons, Gareth Morgan Ryan and Stephen Patrick Ryan; a host of other relatives and friends including Sue Jane Starnes and Elizabeth Clayton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Massey in 2006; and stepson, Don Baber.
