Weldon Speer

Graveside service for Weldon Henry Speer, 87, of Walnut Springs will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Rosehill Cemetery.

Mr. Speer passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Granbury. He was born June 7, 1925 in Cleburne to John Henry and Ruby Victoria Black Speer. He married Ellen Marie Ford in Aug. of 1987 in Fort Worth and she preceded him in death on Sept. 5, 1994.

Mr. Speer served in the United Stated Army Air Corps. He was a self employed farmer.

Survivors include his four children, Rickie Lee Robinson, Shirley Irene Lambert and husband Harold, Ruby Leona Ayers and husband Larry and Ila Corene Underwood; 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a brother, James Thomas Speer and his wife Imogene. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Minnie Faye Thompson.
