Graveside service for Wendel Lee Dyess, 90, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in Venus Memorial Park. Chaplain Nancy Schneider will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Wendel Lee Dyess passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born Dec. 17, 1925 in Clifton to William Lee and Addie Mae Caldwell Dyess.
Mr. Dyess served in the United States Navy during WWII and worked as a construction foreman, building roller skating rinks until retiring. He was of the Christian faith. Wendel will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughters, Wendy Dyess of Cleburne and Jean Barrett of Burleson; son, Eddie Bailey of Alvarado; and a host of other relatives and friends.
