Wendell White

Graveside service for Wendell White, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2019 in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday May 12 at Crosier-Pearson funeral home. Pallbearers will be Chad Greenslade, Billy Wiginton, Chris Nelson, Alex Waits, Michael Waits, and John Harper.

Wendell White passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in his long-time Cleburne home. He was born November 19, 1930 in Cleburne to B.A. and Mittie (Tarpley) White. Wendell married Burnice Garviene Darling on August 29, 1953 in Johnson County. Wendell was a lifelong entrepreneur and businessman in the Cleburne area.

A loving family man who always put his wife and family first, Wendell was a stranger to no one and will be greatly missed by many friends and family members.

Wendell is survived by his wife of 65 years, Garviene White of Cleburne; daughter Teresa Teaff of Tye; grandchildren, Chad Greenslade and wife Annie of Celina, Melissa Wiginton and husband Billy of Grandview, Heather Nelson and husband Chris of Burleson; great grandchildren, Owen Nelson, Alanna West, Joseph Wiginton, Brook Wiginton; sister Wanda Stovall and husband David of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews and additional family members.

Wendell is preceded in death by his son Gary White, son in law Larry Teaff, and brother Adrian White.
