Service for Whitney She’bree Morgan, 24, of Joshua will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 21, 2019 at The Heights Church, Dr. Johnie McDowell- Dollarhide will officiate. Burial will follow at in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Whitney She’bree Morgan passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019. She was born December 5, 1995 in Cleburne to Wendell Morgan, Jr. and Patricia Thompson. She was a machine operator for Dyna Energetics and was working towards her degree to become a service technician through Concord Career College. She was a member of St. Paul Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Cleburne.
Whitney was an excellent mother of 2 wonderful children. She was great caregiver, very loving and giving. Her manner of always being joyful, coupled with her beautiful smile that never failed to lighten up the room. She was a hard worker who could accomplish anything she set her mind to. Whitney was a 2014 graduate of Cleburne High School where she was a talented athlete, playing three years of Varsity basketball for Cleburne High School. Her outgoing personality made teammates into friends, and friends became like sisters. She and her teammates did everything together. Basketball was her life before she became a mother.
Survivors include her daughter, Mya Green; son, Micah Green; her children’s father, Jacob Green; father, Wendell Morgan, Jr. and fiancée Alesia Duncan; mother, Patricia Thompson; brother, Patrick De’mon Morgan; grandparents, Fae Rene and Wendell Morgan, Sr., aunts, Rossia Morgan, Michelle Horne and husband Terrance, Annie Thompson and husband Jimmy, and Crystal Jones; uncles, Joseph Thompson and Robert Thompson; nephew, Joshua Tarpen; niece, Aubree Morgan; Godparents, Lyndon and Brenda Overton; first cousins, Bryan Morgan, Jeremiah Nelson, Jasmine Thompson, Jerica Thompson, Jarvis Thompson, Alantra Patton, Marisa Horne, Autumn Horne and Monica Horne; numerous 2nd and 3rd cousins; best friends, Jasline Chandler and Destiny Tindell; and boyfriend, Karl Tindell.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Lou Thompson; grandfather, Alexander “Brother” Echols and cousin, J’Sean Morgan.
